Snake Oil Recording is an open architecture facility built on vibe, comfort, excellent gear and a great sounding room. A fully equipped and professional recording studio conveniently located just minutes from downtown Richmond, VA in Manchester.
The facility was conceived and build by Dan-O Deckelman, with technical assistance by Wes LeChot of Wes LaChot Designs and Overdub Lane Studios, NC. Snake Oil Recording is a unique place where ideas are realized and honed to taste while keeping the atmosphere creative, artistic and fun. Plenty of toys to play with that make interesting noises, and some of them are...well...toys. Vintage and modern instruments, gear and tech all contribute their part in the creative process, with an open architecture for live band performances. Multi-Track Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Music Production, Voice Over, CD/DVD Duplication / Packaging, E-Sessions
E-Sessions and Re-Ampming Service
E-Sessions include an FTP file transfer of your tracks to us for: Mixing, Editing, Arranging, Instrument Tracking & Re-Amping, or Full Song Production.
E-Sessions is an invaluable service for those who do not have the benefit of a live room, equipment or expertise, yet require first class sounding results.
We also just added an A-100 Hammond Organ and Lesile 122 cabinet. In my humble opinion Nothing comes close to the real thing. And what in life does really?
